Those who build Programs or Desktop-Themes will never have enough Glyphs and Icons. So why not starting an own creation. With the Icon Filter you can a starting place for your own Icon Collection within seconds because it extracts Icons from the EXE, DLL, OCX, CLX or even BMP files on your hard disk. Icon Filter then store the files as Icon file (*.ICO), Cursor File (*,.CUR) or convert them into Glyphs (Bitmap , *.BMP), For getting your own Icon Collection quite fast, Icon Filter can even extract all icons from one complete directory with one mouse click. In case you decide to produce BMP icons (Glyphs) you can optional also generate a HTML Gallery of those images. Please keep in mind that some Icons might be protected by copyright. You only should use those Icons as a starting place for creating your own stuff. U may use the free MS Resource Kit to finalize those icons. Only so your aplication will be unique!
